For the past five years or so, I’ve been what you could call a “casual Tool fan.”  (Is that even a thing that exists?)  As in, I’ve heard their entire discography, but they’re not a band I’d listen to daily, or even weekly.  I’ll give 10,000 Days or Ænima a spin once in a while, but that’s about the size of it.

But recently I’ve been delving more into the music.  Tool is a band that you cna’t just idly listen to while doing homework, at least, not the first few times you run through an album.  No, you have to sit back and really listen.  You need to hear everything, or else you won’t get it.  That’s something I realized I’d been doing wrong this entire time.

Suffice to say, I am now a full-fledged Tool fan.
